I have a proportion that is .5972 and a mean that is .5984.
I have a standard error of .0681 and a standard deviation of .0688.
What can explain the relationship between proportion and mean and the relationship between standard error and standard deviation that makes these numbers so similar but different>
More info: Found proportion and standard error by dividing number of houses sold by houses with fireplaces and then using the standard error formula with a sample size of 50. Found mean and standard deviation by drawing 1000 random samples with a sample size of 50.
