Conduct disorders and Oppositional Defiant Disorders are associated with anger, temper tantrums, aggressive behavior, arguementive behavior and bullying. The suffers of these disorders often blame others for their behavior and try to rationalize their maladaptive behaviors. The causes of these behaviors are:

  • Harsh and strict parenting of such individuals or the parenting is too lenient and irresponsive to them.
  • Quarrelsome and arguementive parents at home either one of the parents or both of them, who often broke into quarrels and fights with others.
  • Emotional insecurity caused by strain in parent child relationship or divorce of parents.
  • Socio-economic factors as poverty and violent neighborhood.

In short the main cause of these behavior disorders is sociocultural factors where the Individual follows the maladaptive behaviors of his/her parents or is caused by the socio economic factors where the strains of life makes the individual to behave so.Also the parental bringing up and the relationship model plays an important role in developing these maladaptive behaviors.
