Business process: Business process can be defined as the process which is set to conduct the day to day business activities and is ongoing in nature . Ie the business process is ongoing and do not have any fixed interval or terminal.

It can also be defines as the guidebook for any kind of work being done in an organization and must be fulfilled without any deviation in the process.

Lets understand this with an example:

Company makes an order by raising the quotation to different suppliers,Conducting the supplier reviews,Negotiating the price of the product,Raising the Purchase order through SAP and then payment is done.

So this is the basic buying process which every business operation follows and its continuing.

Project process: This refers to the process which get introduced for conducting any specific objective or goal and thus the process have terminals i.e the start and the end. The process get adopted or started when the project starts and end with the project completion.

However this project process can be included in the business process to continue throughout the regular business activities.

Ex: Project was carried out to improve the customer feedback system and therefore introduced CRM(Customer relationship management )System to improve the customer feedbacks process. This can be used in regular business process to handle customer and their feedbacks.

Project Management life cycle: Project management lifecycle is the 4 stage process which every project process have to go through them. The various stage are :

Initiation: This refers to the initial stage in which the problem or need get noticed and are decided to work on to make improvements and fulfill the needs or provide a solution towards a problem.

Planning:It refers to the stage in which planning or resources like Man,material,machine , various strategies,techniques etc to be used in order to complete the set of activities or project in an effective manner.

Execution:This refers to the execution or converting and applying the planned activities in real project work and thus get it done.

Closure:This refers to the final result or the completion ot the project activities.In this stage the project work is completed and thus it closely monitored for its effectiveness.
