Hi Answer:
1. How can you identify whether an unknown cell is an animal, plant or bacterial cell?
Answer: We can identify any unknown type of cell by examining it under the microscope. As every cell from the plant, animal and bacteria have some characteristic feature organelles by checking the presence or absence of that feature organelle we can confirm the origin of the cell. For plant Cell: As plants are autotrophs, it have chloroplast and it lack lysosomes and the plant cell didn’t undergo cellular respiration. In case of the animal cell, it has many specific organelles such as lysosomes, nucleus etc., but lacks chloroplast. Whereas in case of bacterial cell it lacks well-defined organelles such as the nucleus.
2. How do materials move the lysosomes organelle?
Answer: the lysosomes are also known as the garbage disposal units of the cells. It contains a number of digestive enzymes which is used to digest the waste. The lysosomes are surrounded by the plasma membrane which protects the neighboring organelles from the digestive nature of the lysosomes enzymes. The material move to the lysosomes by the phagocytosis. As the food enters into the plasma membrane the engulfment of food particles took place and the formation of the food vacuoles took place on another side of the cell at the same time the lysosomes are getting ready. These lysosomes get attached to the food vacuole and start the digestion. These lysosomes also attached with the damaged organelles and digest them also. The detailed digestion by the lysosomes can be understood by the diagram given below:
