Answer: The epidemic may be defined as the widespread of an infectious disease either viral or bacterial at a particular time. As describe above epidemic may be viral or bacterial in origin and spread very fast from one individual to another. Presently, I am discussing the way to combat a viral epidemic. The various step to handle the situation and prevent it's more spreading are as follows: (i) First of all we have to understand how the disease is spreading so teach and educate the common man the way of spreading of the disease and ask the infected peoples stay at home and not go in the public. So that the germs remain in particular area and unable to spread more.

(ii) Stop sharing food, utensils, and cloths of the infected person. Because by sharing germs can enter from sick to a healthy individual which increase the disease frequency.

(iii) Always wear the mask whenever going to a public place or infected area.

(iv) Always use hand sanitizer to wipe the hands when touching the common things such as public transport, doors etc.

(v) Maintain personal hygiene and encourage others too.

(vi) Avoid eating outside
