Yes, its true that we became more narcissistic as a society over time. Factors which is responsibile for making the societies and infact the whole world narcissistic is the virtuality of every aspects and the absence of actuality of every aspects. People have started feeling that he or she can do a particular work or can achieve a particular goal without help of any one, and thats the point which affects the behaviour of human beings to react as a social animal. Smart phones, internet , globalisation are directly affecting the peoples to become narcissistic . Increased competition , financial struggles have changed the mind of peoples. For say physical need is a most common thing in all the human beings and inorder to fulfill it people needs a partner. But nowadays various gadgets and sex dolls are fulfilling the needs , thus a people dont need to approach a partner favouring him or her in this regard and people become narcissistic.
