1)Casting: Casting is a process of putting hot metals into moulds and cooking them for turning that moulds into that shapes and some examples are provided below:

• In continuous process, casting is used to make Bricks for making supportive structures.
• In batch processing, Casting is used to make steel vessels like plates, pans etc.
• In customer made to order, jewellery can be termed as example.

2)Moulding also can be used for all production process as large quantity of moulds can be used for manufacturing bricks, batch processing also use moulding for creating directrix batch of commodities and in customer made to order moulds can be made for some specific shapes according to the orders made by customers.

3) joining can also be used in all production process for example welding is needed for every production process regardless its type for joining metals.
