Since SPSS gives only two tailed significance value so for one tailed we need to divide two tailed significance value by 2 so
The cut-off value for a 5% significance level = 0.001
The observed t score = 3.975
Since the p-value = 0.001 < 5% significance level so we reject the null hypothesis and conclude that the Alcoholics Anonymous reduces the amount of drinks people consume in a week.
