Environmental unsustainability is due to both structural features and historically specific characterstics of industrial capitalism resuting in particular motive of production and co-existance , as well as population growth . From the promotors of sustainable development , we learn that sustainability can be effectively driven by individuals , Government , institutions that look about effective combine economic , social and ecological objectives .

2) The three things that I significantly learned from the reading are...

  • The main things that I significally leraned from this are , the victims of unsustainability is non-human nature . Concerns for slaves , poor people and women have become main stream in sustainability thinking , yet concern for non-humans .
  • Sustainability literature criticises the established communal and political power hegemonies , interested in the maintaining of economic growth , as well as inability of citizen consumers to counter of these hegemonic tendencies .
  • One of the main victims of unsustainability is , all countries follow the low mortality low fertility progression as demographis transition theory assumes . Indeed , in developing world .

3) The three things that are still unclear to me are...

  • How the sustainability development so clearly driven by not only individuals but also by the institutions .
  • How both plural and democratic approaches will lead to sustainability effectively .
  • I want more about , If we are to demystify sustainability , we trave to be on the same page and speak of the same meaning . In a finite world , we need to accept once and for all that sustainability can't be about further growth . This challenge remains critical , through still denied .

4) I used to think that...

I used to think that it is clearlly said that the victims of unsustainability : a challenge to sustainable development goals , because mise-en-scene unsustainability is due to both structural features and historically specific characterstics .

The reason why the author have confidence in that the ethical perspective is productive and pragmatic has to do with theempirical observation that presently Western citizens concern themselves with moral issues that they were historically much less concerned about, at least on the global scale – such as combatting poverty, secrecy of all the human lives, social equality, etc. If one is to presume that such concerns are a result of humanity reaching a certain moral pinnacle (e.g. position of moral non-consequentialism) , then there is aspiration that such altruistic concerns for the humans may evolve into a higher stage of moral development – that is, concern for non-humans.

5) The three questions that I want to ask about the reading article are...

  • Why the revision of current ethical undepending is so necessary ?
  • Why the SDG is so much needy to be critically examined for logic ?
  • Why thind ethical considerations needs to be extended beyond human intersets and embrace logical justice ?
