Proteins which is catalyzed by Ribosome.
# Function of Ribosome.
Ribosomes has two components 1) Ribozyme ( catalyse the peptide bond formation)
2) protein subunits ( large and small)
As shown in the figure, Ribosomes catalyze the translation process by building protein
Polymers from amino acid chain.
# Role of proteins in the metabolism
Proteins play pivotal role in the metabolism as enzymes and metabolic intermediate
Transporters. No cellular process would occur without proteins.
# Conclusion
Without Ribosomes, there wont be synthesis of proteins inside the cell, eventually the
Metabolism will stop and cell will die.
