One can measure the pulse, from your wrist by palpating the radial artery in your wrist. This is because Radial artery is located at the surface of wrist. The radial artery supplies the arm and hand with oxygenated blood from the lungs.
Steps to measure pulse from radial artery -
Formula for heart rate -- No. of beats in 10sec × 6

Heart rate = no of beats in 15 sec × 4
