What is Consumer Behaviour?
Consumer behaviour is the study of the processes involved when individuals select, purchase, use, or dispose of products, services, ideas, or experiences to satisfy needs and desires.
Buyers acts as actors - A Buyer is a person who identifies a need or desire, makes a purchase, and then disposes of the product. Buyers have different behaviors for different situations.

3.Extensive decision-making

1. Routine response behavior – This type of behaviour that occurs when buying frequently purchased, low-cost, low risk items that needs decision effort and a little search.
2. Limited decision-making - Behaviour that occurs when buying products purchased only occasionally, for which a moderate amount of information gathering, and deliberation is needed.
3. Extensive decision-making - Behaviour that occurs when a purchase involves unfamiliar, expensive, high-risk or infrequently bought products for which the buyer spends much time seeking information and comparing brands before deciding on the purchase.
4. Impulse buying - Behaviour that involves no conscious planning but results from a powerful, persistent urge to buy something immediately.
