Students write a biographical essay of at least three paragraphs that describes who the student is as a public person. By public I mean (a) the beliefs and opinions students hold about such topics as the values the community or the society should reflect, and/or the issues that are important for the community or the society to address, and, also, (b) how students came to hold these beliefs and opinions. Students should describe the important people, places, and/or events that helped to shape the beliefs and/or opinions they hold. There is no style or format requirement for this assignment.

First and foremost, a student should continually endeavour to liberate herself from contemporary social evils. Students are the future of every society. They express the skills which they themselves possess. Each person we recollect , be a writer, a scientist, a statesman or a corporate visionary was once a student and remains to be a learner for her entire life. It is important to note that technical skills and soft skills both are required to make the world a better place to live in.

Students need to be optimistic about a bright future and drive the change on below fronts to be specific

· Environment protection

· Being human

· Reduction of inequalities

· Ethical behaviour

· Peace

· Sustainable economic development

These dimensions are deeply rooted in one’s psyche due to learning at educational institutions, common acceptable social behaviours underscored by culture, religion and so on.

For a meaningful life, empirically one need to work on a balance between EQ (Emotional Quotient), SQ (Spirituality Quotient) and IQ (Intelligence Quotient). Mere running after endless consumerism materialism is not expected to serve any sustainable purpose for homosapiens.
