Advise for the sibling who wants to discontinue his/her studies:

High School	College
A talk to the school counsellor about the resources like financial aid available for the students in need.	Talk to the financial aid office to provide you with alternative funding option.
Try to locate and find out the areas where student school supplies are provided	Apply for more scholarships ,within and outside of the school.
If your family is struggling with homelessness, there are multiple NGOs and organizations you can reach out too for help. There are numerous resources for homeless students.	Consider moving to a public or community college to save up on the fees . Find a part time job which matches up with your study and classes schedule.
	If must, take a gap of a year rather than dropping out of the school to get your finances together. Start a budget and try seeking help on money management.
