Discuss the root cause of poverty in low – income countries
The root causes of poverty in low income countries are:-
1. In low income countries, there is lack of good job and job growth which is the main reason for poverty. In these countries, the main focus is on the traditional jobs like farming which reduce the income level as the country is less technical. Half of the population is under the poverty line. The jobless growth of the countries is the key cause for increasing the poverty in the country.
2. Lack of education in the low incomes countries which become the main reason of poverty. the country with less funds could not provide education facilities and the people will do not get the knowledge and information about the policies and laws. The less the people are aware, the less they will be getting the opportunities. This is the root cause of poverty in the low income countries.
3. The poverty is also increased by the lack of food and water as the people will not able to get food and water properly. Also the distribution of food and water among all the citizens is also less effective because the income of such countries is less. The financial situation is also weak of such countries.
4. Lack of infrastructure due to less financial support in low income countries. Infrastructure includes roads, bridges, the internet, public transport, and more which are not provided by the government to the citizens. Without such infrastructure it is impossible to get out the poverty trap. It connects the people to the services and resources and give a chance to the citizens.
