Is there a relationship between ethics and happiness?

Yes, there is. Ethics plays a great role in happiness as far as I am concerned. Primarily, ethics is something which is meant to do good for people around us or the people who are affected by our action. Making other people happy has a big role in our mind and fills our mind with happiness. Furthermore, doing what's ethical will improve my self respect which gives a boost to my happiness.

Often we use to come across the dilemma of choosing what to do. We think a lot about various and every aspects in connection to it and yet finds it difficult to make a decision and even after making a decision would doubt our choice. During these situations I go strictly with what's ethical and this helps me a lot to keep my mind calm, happy and stick on to my choice and make myself sure that I did the right thing. I've often lost my mind whenever I've tried to do something unethical and destroys my inner peace. Thus now I'm sure that every other thing should be ethically weighed before making a decision and that's what make us sane and happy and that's how mankind should be.
