Requirment to become cpa in texas

1. Candidate need to attend 150 Semester hours credit and Bachleor degree

2. Credit hours counting will subject to terms and condition specified by university

3. After fulfilling above 2 conditions person can apply for Cpa examination with prescribed form and photograph ( appllication fee $50)

4. Within 24 to 48 hours approval notice from board will received by such applicant

5. After approval schedule of exam will received by applicant

6. CPA applicant should complete at least one year ( 2000 hours) or volunteer work experience under supervision of CPA

7. Should submit work experience form

8. After fulfilling above requirment he may apply for CPA license

9. Complete 120 hours of CPE every three years, with at least 20 hours of CPE in each 12 month period

10. In addition to the regular CPE requirements, all CPA certificate holders in Texas must complete a 4-hour ethics course every two years.
