1. How can anaerobic microorganisms grow on the skin or in the mouth, both which are exposed to air?
2. Why do many gram positive microbes that grow on the skin, such as S. Epidermis grow poorly or not at all in the gut?
1. Ans- Anaerobic microorganisms grow on the skin or in the mouth which are exposed to air are always polymicrobial in nature. Anaerobic bacteria in mucous membranes of bacterial flora are predominant in normal skin. Their pervasiveness on mucocutaneous surfaces often interferes with which obtain meaningful cultures. Their better characterization of ability through the use of genetic studies can differentiate between similar strains of various types of microorganisms. Because of their meticulous nature, their growth on the skin and in the mouth which are exposed to air are obvious. On the skin and in the mouth areas that are exposed to ambient air microorganisms created anaerobic microenvironment due to the presence of bacterial flora of facultative anaerobic microorganisms. The anaerobic microorganism invades through a breach in the skin surface or in the mouth where humidity and high temperature are always aggravating factors. Anaerobic microorganisms frequently curved hair follicles that reenters the skin to produce an already ingrown hair that allows to overgrowth of the microorganisms.
**Dear student as per rules I have to do only one question. Thank you.
