According to question, 150mL of solution has to be administered in 2 hrs or we can say 120min (Since 1 hr = 120min)
So rate would be 150mL/120min = 1.25mL/min.
Now drop factor is 20gtt/mL which means 20 drops make 1 mL of solution, hence for 1.25 mL,
the rate would be 20gtt/mL x 1.25mL/min = 25gtt/min
We know that for 100mL of NS, it will have 9 gram of NaCl. Therefore for 150mL it will be 13.5 gm(9gm + 4.5gm)
Solution given to patient in 1hr 15 min or 75 min = 1.25mL/min x 75min = 93.75mL
Therefore content of NaCl would be 9% i.e. 93.75mL x 0.09 = 8.4375mL
Total drug 500mg in 150mL i.e. 500mg/150mL = 10mg/3mL
So, drug in 1hr 15min would be 10mg/3mL x 93.75mL = 312.5mg
