Thank you for your help
Tiktaalik is considered a fish, as covered with scales and gills, but it has the flattened head of a crocodile and unusual fins. Its fins have thin ray bones for paddling like most fish, however, they also have sturdy interior bones that would have allowed Tiktaalik to prop itself up in shallow water and use its limbs for support as most four-legged animals do.
This was the most crucial discovery in order to support evolution. As creationism doesn't encourage evolution and support goods creation. The gap between two phylum like fish and reptile cannot be explained due to the absence of intermediate creature and hence creationism had a strong point of belief. However, the discovery proved that there weren't any transformation required to generate life form from one to another instead the whole process is continuous and follow evolution. This the fossil of tiktaalik choosen.
