Taking two democratic countries - Norway and India
Norway is one of the most prosperous countries. The democratic structure of Norway is totally different from that of indian democratic structure. The policies of Norway democracy have the framework of parliamentary, representative democratic and constitutions. The power of executive is exercised by cabinet, prime minister and council of state which are selected by multi-party system. The Economist Intelligence Unit declared Norway as the old and full democracy in 2019. This improves the delivery system which respects the right of others and lives their lives under culture.
Whereas, indian democracy is famous all over the world. The basic civil and criminal laws governing the citizens are controlled majorly by the parliamentary legislation. This involves the penal code, civil procedure code etc. similar to the union government and state government consist of legislative and judiciary.
But the major issue of such democracies is corruption and black money in the economy. by Relying on normal people to choose the government and leaders, making judgments among the policy democracies. This makes them self-reliant and gives powers to the citizens. Corruption and Inefficiency.
The challenges of such structures are the political leaders, officers, governments become corrupt, dishonest and inefficient. They ask for bride for accessing the policies in the countries. This affects the working of democracy in the countries very negatively. There also inequalities amongst the people in the economies. The people have right to vote but always the right person do not get elected.
The Indian democracy is affected by the political and economic decisions in the following way. The democracy and the economic growth and development have a strong interactive relationship.
