Why is the mitochondria, ribosomes, and cell membrane less important than the nucleus overall? Are these cells all related to the nucleus.
Mitochondria , ribosomes and cell membrane is important as there own way but less than the nucleus because the nucleus contains the genetic materials that is DNA which directs all the functions of these organalles and sometimes helps in the synthesis of organalles and play a major role in metabolic and physiological functions. Where example as ribosomes mainly synthesized by nucleus and helps in the synthesizing the proteins( coded by DNA) by ribosomes which is involved all the biological function. Cell membrane that is plasma membrane made up of lipids and intrensic extrensic proteins which helps in transport of materials , Where these proteins are also coded by genetic material only . In some organisms cell membrane is also absent movement takes place through pores.
Where mitochondria replicates by there own but the machinery which is useful for replication is made up of nuclear genome.
So we can say that the nucleus is important because it contains DNA which is unit of life and not only these but many other organalles are related with nucleus.
