The shape and dimensions of the dental implant, the quantity and quality of the bone, the surgical technique and the loading conditions (load intensity, direction of the forces involved) are the factors that affect the dental implant treatments. Dental implants have a high success rate, but some people experience dental implant failure due to the loose dental crown, bone loss, and peri-implantitis (infection).

Titanium dental implants can offer many benefis: they present osseointegration with the jawbone, and are more stable than dentures.
