Panic Disorder is a Anxiety disorder which creates recurrent panic attacks and has combination of physical and psychological effects on a person.The symptoms are palpitation,sweating,numbness or tingling,choking,fear of dying and losing control,chest pain and sweating.Most often person suffering from panic attack makes them think they are suffering for heart attack.Most often this is experienced in fear of an object or in a situation.The age of onset is 22-23 years and mostly found in people with depression and PTSD.People who have this panic disorder experience symptoms for no reason.Panic attack can hamper a normal lifestyle when one is in constant fear of having attack when driving a car or watching a movie,or fear doing any activity with a fear that the panic attack may affect .Panic disorder is a combination of biological,personality and environmental factors.The psychological effects that one can experience in panic disorder are feeling tense,nervous,dwell on the past,fearing the worst,feeling restless,and high levels of anxiety.Panic attacks last 5- 20 minutes and can occur even during sleep.The most practical way to avoid this panic attack is to avoid what trigers the panic attack and what situations may cause fear in a person.
