How did those first eukaryotic cells get here? What are your ideas concerning the evolution of the first eukaryotic cells?

Do not concern yourself with how life first formed, rather just concern yourself with how eukaryotic cells first evolved. Please look at this from a scientific standpoint and not a religious point of view.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer:

During evolution , simple molecules combined and reacted to form proteins and nucleic acids. These formed RNA, DNA and enzymes. These developed to form prokaryotic cells. These prokaryotic cells came into symbiotic relationship with other Microbes which evolved to form structures called cell organelles. The increased amount of energy requirement led to evolution of mitochondria and chloroplasts developed to fulfill the requirements of food source. These led to development of plant cells carrying photosynthesis.

Likewise , other organelles developed according to cellular needs. Ribosomes for protein formation, vacuoles for storage of food and water, and others.

Nuclear membrane formed to protect the DNA which folded to form chromatin material . This provided better functioning and protection of genetic material.

This is how eukaryotes would have developed from simpler molecules and associated to form complex living organisms.

Q1.During class we discussed some of Durkheim’s findings; here is your chance to apply those ideas to a current situation. The Federal Government released the following data in late 2016: “The suicide rate among U.S. middle school students (defined as between 10-14 years old – tom’s note) doubled from 2007 to 2014, surpassing for the first time the incidence of youngsters aged 10 to 14 who died in car crashes … Those figures contrast sharply with figures from 1999, when...

THE DEMOTIVATION OF CEO PAY How much did your CEO get paid this year? What did any CEO get paid? You may not know the exact amounts, but you probably think the answer is, “Too much money.” According to research from 40 countries that probed the thoughts of CEOs, cabinet ministers, and unskilled employees, we all think leaders should be paid less. Beyond that, we are clueless. Where we err (fail to adhere to the proper or accepted standards) can...
