With two examples explain how you would motivate the general population to improve on their nutrition and hence health.
Nutritional education: This is a process of teaching the science of nutrition (involves various physiological and chemical activities which transforms food elements into body elements which a body can absorb) to an individual or a group of people. Nutrition, health and food safety has a broad vision encompassing educational stratergies and environmental supports to encourage the adoption of healthy, sustainable food choices and the eating patterns. The art of nutritional education to the general population is like breaking down a large body of knowledge into small individual components so that the public people is able to understand, absorb and use the piece of information delivered to them. Despite on intellectual understanding the benefits of excercise and intake of nutritional food to stay healthy, people may feel too busy or lazy/hopeless to start a fitness routine and get involved in it. Hence there are some of the thoughts to motivate people around:
1. Listen: Actually listen to the other people/public saying about their requirement/need they want from a different habit. The more you understand their desire, obstacles, fear, rationale the easier the process will be and use your suggestions as motivation and where it is appropriate in the conversation.
2. Help the people finding "why": Get the general population why they need to get better health and nutrition is important to their life. There may be many cases like health condition requiring better habits, tired of their clothes not fitting any more, general prevention, desire for more energy or better sleep etc. Regardless the cases, the key point is to connect them with a specific goal that feels personal.
3. Be a workout buddy: This is a practical way to help others achieve their real progress. Actually do certain things like excercise, yoga, cycling etc with the people around together leads to mutual support and accountability are the powerful ways to keep their momentum fired up over time. Research studies have shoen that workout in partners increases the exercise compilance, intake of nutritional foods, weight loss, maintaining perfect health and commitment towards goal in the long term.
