Mercedes-Benz is a German automotive marque and a subsidiary of Daimler AG. Mercedes-Benz is known for producing luxury vehicles and commercial vehicles. The headquarters is in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg. The name first appeared in 1926 under Daimler-Benz. In 2018, Mercedes-Benz was the largest seller of premium vehicles in the world, having sold 2.31 million passenger cars.

a. Workgroup processes - These processes are limited to workgroup information and enable the groups to achieve their goals. An example is business intelligence function that assists the strategy formation by acquiring market knowledge about luxury vehicles.
b. Enterprise processes - Processes that cover multiple departments and support their activities. An enterprise process is the integration of all departments of an organisation's supply chain, such as procurement, production, warehousing, logistics, finance, distributors, retailers and marketing department, to create value for the customers and company by reducing lead time and improving efficiency. An example is the communication of sales manager who is sitting in front of a customer, with channel members to find out the delivery schedule of a car that has a rare color.
c. Inter interprise process- It is a process that involves two or more independent organisations working together to achieve some objectives of common interest. An example is Mercedes Benz tying up with finance companies and insurance companies to create a combined package for its customers to save money and reduce hassles.
