What is prefix or suffix of lysis means?
Lysis specifically means to separate or to split when it is used as prefix
When it is used as suffix (-lysis) it refers to the decomposition , separation, destruction, disintegration or the loosening .
Lysis mainly is used to demonstrate the viral or the osmotic mechanisms which will compromise the integrity of those cell membrane.
