Falls from Same Level and Falls from Heights

Employers should be more concerned with falls to the same level than falls from heights?

falls from the same level:-falls from the same level include slip, trip or fall on the same on which they are working it can be in form of impact or unintended incident depending upon the workplace here are some common couses

• oily or wet surface
• machining chips on the surface
• objects on the floor
• lack of safety wears such as footwear

preventing falls from same level

• taking proper safety measures such as hand gloves,footwear etc
• proper ligghtening in the work area
• cleaning the chips generating during the work
• do not be distracted when walking through work area

falls from the heights:- it include slip,trip or fall to the lower level from the working surface it can not be controlled as of the falls from the same level becouse it can be due to both technical error or worker mistakes. if all the prventing measures are taken in falls from the same level then it can be cotrolled or stopped but not the same in falls from the height.
