Answer: It is important to provide comfortable environment to the patient. This enables them to discuss their problems. To provide comfortable environment to the client's, it is necessary that the healthcare providers should:

  • Provide privacy to the patient.
  • Should provide safe and sound environment.
  • Rapid response team management.
  • Cultural competence environment.
  • Respecting the beliefs of the client.
  • Building trust.
  • Cross checking the bed, equipment etc nearby the patient, so it may not hurt or cause injury.

Sometimes in case of diverse population, the client with different cultural values requires further assistance or modifications in the environment. In that case, such as in some of the culture, women require privacy and doesn't ready to get treated or injected with the male care providers. Hence in this case, replacing the male nurse with the female nurse or carer to provide injections to the women. These are the minute modifications required.
