cunduction, convection and radiation.
which processes operate in which of earths layers. and which one transfers the most heat overall

Solutions

Expert Solution

The Conduction Processes mainly occurs in The upper Lithosphere part of the earth that is Uppermost Mantle and Crust. But this is very insignificant part because rocks are very poor heat conductor.

The Radiation mainly occurs on the upper Crust of Earth, which gives off minuscule portion its heat as radiant Energy to teh atmosphere. The insolation received by earth crust is also sent back as Radiation.

The convection mainly occurs in the mantle, where temperature variations lead to Convection Currents which transfer energy.

Of the three layers and three forms of energy transfer the Convection process is the Most Dominant Process in overall transfer of energy.

These information are regarding internal layers of the earth, and internal heat of the earth, not including the atmosphere energy processes.

Could you explain to me what the author is stating here" Humans’ biological processes operate in relationship to many influences from the social, cultural, and physical environments, causing disruptions of homeostasis (balance).
