IMPORTANCE OF INFORMATION SECURITY-.

Information security is Securing  the information from unauthorized access, whether the  Information is physical or electrical one - Information Security program basically have 3 objectives -   Confidentiality, Integrity and availability . Being a worker of a service provider for a Telecom sector , it is important to maintain information security as -

1. Protect workstations from harmful Spyware - With the Technological progress it is becoming more essential to secure information and data. Information security helps in protecting the attacks by breaking down information into numerous parts and. encrypting these parts which secure the data base .

2. Reliability -. It prevents lagging and downtimes through continous monitoring of any suspicious information or transactions that can harm the system.

3. For large. Sales Forces or service people-

Sales Force is a major part of any service provider. They specialize in customer relationship management (CRM ) which helps the firm to track customer activity , market  access and many more service. Today's business is build on data , therefore information security helps the sales force in maintaining data   security by -.

- Training all employees to get aware of data security risks.

- Maintaining password hygiene like having strong or unique passwords

.- Securing the access through system administrator ,like cloud based information systems that provides ideal data security.

4. Importance for manager who work remotely - In 2020 , with the growing Corona virus pandemic , there is increase in managers who work remotely or from home ,  and there is increase in cyber crimes , as through remote access technologies are   becoming more exposed to external threats . Information Security helps in setting up standards and communicating remote work security policies by regulating personal device security , setting , security virtual private network providing ( VPN ) vigilant. It also support and educate managers to get properly trained of information security like not to use public Wi Fi , use of VPN  network only.

Thus, information security is important for every services providers.
