Rubicon’s mission is to prepare very low-income people to achieve financial independence and to partner with people with mental illness on their journey of recovery. Rubicon has provided employment, housing, mental health, and other supportive services to individuals who are very low-income, especially people who are homeless or have mental illness. So the Rubicon’s is also a motivation programs that covering the needs of self-esteem, achievement, mastery, independence, status, dominance, prestige and managerial responsibility.
The needs that must met with clients to make new venture of Rubicon’s is on self-actualization that provide the needs of realize personal potential, morality, self-fulfillment, seeking personal growth and peak experiences. Through direct representation, counseling and advocacy Rubicon’s provide vital legal assistance to very low-income people. Most of their clients live with incomes below the federal poverty line, are living with disabilities, including mental illness, or are seeking to achieve financial independence through employment but face multiple barriers to successfully finding jobs and advancing careers. They are committed to helping their clients gain basic economic security and improved health and wellness. Rubicon's new project, aimed at testing the potential for and impact of significantly scaled national social enterprise, will potentially re-define what the goals and aspirations should be for social enterprise.
