Rubicon’s mission is to prepare very low-income people to achieve financial independence and to partner with people with mental illness on their journey of recovery. Rubicon has provided employment, housing, mental health, and other supportive services to individuals who are very low-income, especially people who are homeless or have mental illness. Most of their clients live with incomes below the federal poverty line, are living with disabilities, including mental illness, or are seeking to achieve financial independence through employment but face multiple barriers to successfully finding jobs and advancing careers. They are committed to helping their clients gain basic economic security and improved health and wellness.
