Harm reduction:
It refers to the polices and programes that are framed and aims in minimisation of negative health, drug laws and policies. Its focuses and works on the grounds of justice and human rights.
In other words, Harm reduction is the practice of making drug use safer for people who choose to use.The primary goal of Harm Reduction is to reduce harm from health-related behaviors that are considered to put the affected individuals and/or their communities at risk for negative consequences. These approaches seek to improve quality of life for affected individuals and their communities and society. Harm Reduction is more of an attitude, rather than a fixed set of rules and regulations.
