The cereals were generally taken by the people in the breakfast. Cereals were available in different shape, flavours to attract the consumers. Kellog's tried to start something new but without any market study or survey. It didn't tried to obtain the demand or preference of people. It introduced a new cereal which was tasty, nutritious, free of sugar and made up of grain.
The company tried everything to promote their product to the customer like giving coupons , offred discounts but the product's demand didn't sustain for long.The new discount and coupons plans worked for once but it didn't make the repeat purchase. People always got attracted by the discounts or any offer, whether there is a requirement of the product or not in their life.
Talking about the consumer's habit, we could say they were lazy a little bit. So they didn't find the time to have breakfast. Another thing about them is they try to eat sugar less but they do not seem be intersted in it. Instead of sugarless they find the sugar coated cereals more tasty. This is general tendancy of humans they always plans for diet but when it comes to the implementation part many of them fail to do so.
Taking breakfast in the morning is a good habit. It helps people to do their daily tasks with energy. If the people could schedule their morning time accordingly they would get the time to eat breakfast. If they find the time to eat breakfast they would probably try the cereals as it has a variety of grains in it like barley, wheat, corn. These are surely very much healthy for a human.
