As a seasoned small business owner of 5-10 years, with 2-5 part-time employees, what advice would you give when it comes to decision making?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Ans. The advices I would give are

1. THINK LONG : Th very first advice is to make a decision considering long run of the business. One should always foresee the result of his decision and take the decision accordingly. A decision should be taken by thinking the future .

2. TAKE YOUR TIME : Whenever a person has to take a decision , he should take it calmly without any worries because this decision is going to decide the long run of a business so taking time and analysing the decision is important.

3. ADMIT YOUR MISTAKE : You should try to admit the mistake if any done by you rather than imposing on or blaming others. Accepting mistakes is very important for achieving something big in life.

4. BE CLEAR ABOUT YOUR GOALS : For being successful , one should know what exactly is his goal. Without a goal , chasing something is useless because then you will have no idea of what you want and how you will acheive it. So be sure to know what exactly your goal is.

5. KNOW PROS AND CONS : Before taking a decision , one must be confirmed about the pros and cons of that particular decision and only then the decision should be taken.
