BMW and Mercedes are both in Premium car segment and they are stiff competitors. It would be lucky if we can own the both, But, If we had to choose one then we could analyse various Differences.

1. Fuel Economy : The Fuel Economy of the BMW Cars in General exceeds the Mercedes, which is cost effective and save a lot of carbon emissions.

2. Price : The Price of BMW is Must costlier as compared to the Mercedes and it hovers around More than $50,000 for beginning Models.

3. Quality : The Mercedes may have good interious with luxurious feel but for the Premium ranges the built quality and design of the BMW wins over the mercedes.

4. Reliability : The Mercedes is a more complex machine than BMW and it costs a lot in repairment while it is somewhat true for BMW aslo as the wear and tear could lead to change in mechanical parts that are way costlier.

5. Safety and Design: Though the safety of the car depends on Model to Model, the design of BMW is much sporty in nature while mercedes target more of business class.

In All, In My opinion BMW Takes over mercedes, So, One should go for it.
