This is the sales promotion done by Samsung company for its latest flagship s series smartphone. As Brand manager, The target audience for this sales promotion are Consumer market like daily consumers like me and you who uses smartphones in our daily lives.
The promotional objective of this sales promotion is to get high number of pre booking before its launch so that sale of samasung flagship s20 plus and s20 ultra can be high in the first go.
For this sales promotion, Samsung uses advertising tool which is paid form non personal communication for promotion. This ad can be see on TV commercial, kiosk in malls, posters in cities, billboards etc. Company also used direct marketing promotion. Under direct marketing, Company sended this offer to all of its existing samsung users and potential customers via text and email on thier phones. Last company used social media promotion where we can see this promotion on FB, instagram, Ytube, etc.
Promotional clutter means exposing a consumer to an ad message to excessive amount. samsung's sale promotion is short term because it is limited for a limited period only but this promotion message is exposed to consumers in very excessive amount like you can see on your phone while watching yutube, shopping on amazon, going to malls, traveling in city etc.
