Business Systems Analytics or Management information systems
1) Using what you have learned about the importance of identifying and describing the root problem, create an example/fictitious problem statement that could be used in a project charter that describes the increasing problem of plagiarism for universities. Consider the advent of the Internet and companies that sell pre-written work. You may use fictitious data to get the point across that you know how to create an impactful problem statement for a project.
2) What is Business Analysis (based on the definition you learned in this course)? Be detailed, but keep it to around 50 words maximum
1) As per Business system analytics the first step in solving a problem is identifying the root cause of the problem Root Cause Analysis is quite simply, a technique used when analysing the symptoms of a problem in an attempt to identify its definitive cause. One important point to clarify is that an event that deters a process from flowing efficiently is known as an “issue" whereas the repetition of an issue continuously can be described as a problem. Root Cause Analysis can be applied to problem analysis. When problems are not effectively studied, unsuitable resolutions may be endorsed.
By applying the root cause analysis technique to problem solving, one can avoid proffering an incorrect solution to a problem. Business analysts should not offer a solution recommendation until the underlying cause of the problem has been identified and understood.
The incidences of plagiarism (the passing of someone else’s work as though it were one’s own) may be rapidly increasing. After an examination of the prevalence of plagiarism and some of the reasons advanced for its increase, the paper examines some solutions which are typically advocated. The implications for e-Learning and on-line learning cultures will be assessed.
The advent of the internet and companies that sell pre-written work enhances the problem of plagarism for universities as with the proliferation of mobile technology and other useful ,easily and freely accessible devices, it becomes quite easy to get matters or contents, either in written, visual or audio form, on any topic of interest. This trend is making its root stronger among college as well as school going young minds of the students. They copy the related content ad infinitum from internet for completing academic works and teachers become satisfied with their neat and clean (in terms of mistakes) assignments and even written answers in examination
2) Business Analysis is a method of creating change in an organization, by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. Business analysis is used to identify and articulate the need for change in how organizations work, and to facilitate that change. As business analysts, we identify and define the solutions that will maximize the value delivered by an organization to its stakeholders.
