Research a MNE, either a restaurant or a food producer. Where does the MNE fall on the Global Integration vs. Local Responsiveness spectrum? Do they have different products/menu offerings in each country, or is the menu standardized? Use the name of the MNE you pick in your thread title, and try to avoid picking a MNE someone else has already discussed. Make sure to cite your outside sources.
MacDonald's Corporation is an American MNE famously known for its burgers and other fast food offerings. The company is globally integrated and its fast food chains can be located in most part of the world.
It ranks high on local responsiveness spectrum. The company offers its American offerings in other parts of the world along with local cuisines. The naming of the offerings are branded in such a way to attract local customers easily.
They have different products or menu offerings in each country however, they also have standardized menu present in almost all of their outlets.
For example, Macdonld's, apart from offering its standardized non-vegetarian burgers also offers vegetarian burgers in India, as a large part of the population of the country is vegetarian.
Therefore, we can say that Macdonld's is a successful MNE that has perfected the art of moulding to the local needs along with retaining its standardized offerings.
