- What are the best ways that a leader can inspire his/her followers? Is being inspirational a requirement of being a leader? Please explain
1) The people who have an aim to contribute to productive change have a specific skill set and personality. The first important characteristic is that the person should act as a leader. A leader is the one who influences his team members to work in a particular way. The leader should motivate the employees as well as supervise their tasks. It is crucial to look at what and how the subordinates are performing. The second characteristic is emotions. The person should have empathy towards the individuals who suffer. The person should have felt so that he/she can make effective decisions. The third characteristic is humanity. Every individual should act like a human, and not hurt any person already suffering a lot. These traits leave the footprints in the minds of individuals. It helps the people to remember the people in a positive manner. These traits leave a positive impression so that the other person feels welcomed.
2) A leader also has to inspire the subordinates to work effectively and efficiently. It is because the team members have to perform to make the leader proud. The leader can inspire the subordinates by telling them his/her own leadership stories and work stories to motivate them. The other way is to provide incentives, financial, or non-financial. Both the incentives drive the subordinates to perform more. The employees reform more when they know that the leader will pay more or praise them in front of the other employees.
