1- “Only manufacturing organization can apply the business process reengineering to improve their production process” Do you agree with this statement? (Explain).
please give me more explain
Business process reengineering is a process to recreate a business process, the product with the goal of making the business better and improve the quality. In my opinion, it does not confine itself only to the manufacturing industry. No doubt manufacturing industries deal with products and it will be easier for them to adopt the method to reshape the whole business, but when we consider a service industry, there is a chance always to rethink the design of service with a lot of changes. It also throws challenges to the service industry to change certain products that were earlier doing well in the market. When we consider the case of airline companies, this business process engineering shaped the business in a totally different way in a few decades of service. Starting from bundled products in ancillary services to the unbundling of baggage fees has created a huge impact in this industry. Therfore, we can not say that this method is only applicable to manufacturing industry.
