Ethical dilemmas would occur in an organization when a difficult choice has to be made between two actions, in which either of them are ethically inappropriate or morally inadequate. Some of the ethical dilemmas that would occur in organizations are:

a. HR department - When resources have to be reduced and a decision has to be made based on manager recommendations only.

b. Operations - When operations need to be reduced and hence reduced salaries due to unfavorable market conditions (Ex: COVID19).

c. Advertising scenario - When wrong advertisements are made specifically targetting the competitor company, due to which the overall sales of competitor company as well as own company is wiped off. This is done in order to introduce new products in the market.

Strategies to use in the case of Ethical Dilemmas are:

a. Understanding needs to be on the same grounds keeping all the facts in mind.

b. Decisions have to be taken on practical as is scenario, no decisions to be taken based on feelings/ sentiments.

c. In order to deal with Ethical dilemmas, proper consultation has to be made with experienced people and various scenarios needs to be discussed.

d. During Ethical dilemmas, decisions cannot be taken by one singe person, hence management people need to be involved or informed.

a, Develop relationships with local authorities involved in administration and government around the organization production facility.

b. Develop a rapport and gain indefinite support from local authorities.

c. Design programs to enhance community culture along with the local authorities.

d. Ensure that the programs are advertised indefinitely in all channels so that a proper recognition is provided and trust is earned.

e. Ensure that each and every issues in the community are tracked so that regular information is received even though with no active participation.
