According to a study by Ellis and Ficek (2001) in Personality and Individual differences, vol 31, pp 1375-79, there are differences in colour preference, given gender but not sexuality. Participants included 1854 men and 3574 women. Results showed that men prefer different shades of blue, whereas women like green and blue similarly. A summary of the results are shown below.
