Covid-19 has surely served a blow to all the industries that have been mentioned. However it also served as an opportunity for these industries to bring out something creative out of this pandemic and turn this to their own advantage.
We have selected the "Food" Industry and what marketing strategies can be adopted by this industry in order to excel.
With the wake of the pandemic situation, all restaurants, diners, fast food joints and hotels got closed. Initially people were afraid to order from home but when WHO declared that the virus could not be spread through Food. This declaration of WHO can be used as an effective strategy to communicate to people and urge them to order from home using food delivery platforms.
Some of the marketing strategies to succeed can be, the food delivery platforms can come up with a tagline " Why step out when we one click away ? " , urging the customs to order food from their platforms.
The Food Delivery Partners can come up with a specific " Contact Less Delivery", where If the customs opt for this delivery, they will have to make the payments online and the delivery person will leave the order outside the door and customer can collect it at his own convenience. This will in result make the customers feel safe because they will be in the norms of social distancing.
Such two marketting strategies can attract the customers and finally lead to the growth of the food industry even in this pandemic situation.
