International trade refers to the involvement of the purchase and selling of goods and services overseas or cross nation boundaries. The trade can bring numerous variety consequences to an economy that could be evil and good. As a result there is always an ongoing cold war between the supporters of free trade and supporters of trade protectionism. In my opinion it does not violate the human rights because trade agreements usually contain several provisions that aims at protecting human rights through global trade, primarily through the creation of minimum labor standards and workers' rights.
A Protection of intellectual property, also known as intellectual property license, where the party retains the ownership of it's copyright, patent, or trademark, however permits the another party to use all or some it's intellectual property rights for a specific amount. In Article 27 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights such rights are outlined that gives right to benefit from the moral protection and material interests resulting from authorship of literary, scientific, or artistic productions. Thus in my opinion id does not violates the human rights.
Foreign direct investment refers to investment where in a firm in one country directly controls or owns a subsidiary in another country. It can be said to be a direct Investment into a production/business in a nation made by individuals/organizations of another nation. It influences the investment pattern of the economy of a nation and targets to increase the overall efficiency. In my opinion the mismanagement of toxic waste can harm the natural environment and the health and integrity of the host country. Similarly host states may also violates the human rights of the foreign investor by arbitrarily detaining those who are associated with the project investment.
