Overweight or obesity people tend to develop a resistance to insulin, a hormone that regulates blood sugar levels, pushing sugar in to the body cells ,where it is used for energy . If you don't make lifestyle changes to control excess weight, it may develop insulin resistance, which can cause blood sugar levels to rise. It can lead to type 2 diabetes . High blood pressure and cholesterol contribute to the build up of plaques in the arteries and cause stroke and heart diseases. 1) Anti lipid medications use to control LDL (cholesterol )level . 2) regular physical activity : reduce weight byadopting an exercise regimen . 3)eat healthy diet : include more vegetables , whole grains and fruits in the diet. 4) Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption. 5)glycemic control is the another important step for controlling metabolic syndrome . 6) Take proper medications for heart diseases and stroke if occurs.
