Expert Solution

The thirst is regulated by the neutral circuit. The mechanism of the body to increase the consumption of water in response to deficits in the fluid of the body detected is said to be thirst. The thirst gets stimulated by an increase in the extracellular concentration of the non-permeable osmolytes, which can be Na^+, this is the cause by which osmotic movement of water from body cells takes place.

The impact of dehydration on the human body can lead to the loss of stamina and strength. The main cause of dehydration is heat exhaustion. A person should drink more fluids at this stage to overcome the dehydration issue. When the dehydration is chronic, then it affects the function of the kidney and there is also an increased chance of having kidney stones. Mild dehydration causes the symptoms of headache, thirst, dizziness, weakness and fatigue, this leads to feel people tired. The moderate dehydration leads to the symptoms of dry mouth, a lack of elasticity of skin, sluggishness.
