The data represented visually in the above bar-graph tells the observer about the Sales done in the five consecutive years from 2009 to 2013 by the four divisions of the company. It clearly indicates that North division has almost remained consistent in its Sales as it has managed to sell goods worth more than $ 2,00,000 in every year. The west region has shown the lowest Sales volume by remaining near the Sales worth $ 50,000 in almost every year. Both South and East division have shown consistent growth with every next year. The highest sales can be easily depicted in the year 2013, with the three divisions North, South and East managing to touch the sales around $ 2,00,000 individually and even more than that.

Visual representation of data makes the data interesting and easy to comprehend by the observer. These types of data are mostly used in the companies for providing information to the management. It enables data analysis and makes it easy to gain insight into the different patterns and trends. It saves time of the management and can be used in almost every department to represent their data including Finance, Marketing, Sales, Design,etc.
