The doctrine of Ubuntu is very popular across the African continent. Ubuntu is a philosophy of love, truth, peace, inner goodness, etc. The following are the ways in which the traditional leaders in Ghanaian communities can employ the Ubuntu concept for the good of their people.

• The Ubuntu concept helps traditional leaders to accommodate the views of minority communities. It is very relevant in protecting the interest of diverse tribes and clans etc. in the Ghanaian society.
• The Ubuntu concept shall be used by the leaders in ensuring grass-roots level participation in social welfare activities.

(b)

The youth in Africa can play an important role in deconstructing the negative representation of Africa in the following ways.

• African youth shall play an important role in taking the continent out of poverty by joining with international organizations.
• African youth shall also play a crucial role in fighting HIV/AIDS.
• African youth shall play a role in building peace in the place of civil conflicts.
• African youth could create more employment opportunities through entrepreneurship.
